Hi, I’m Mary Callanan. I’m a recent graduate with a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Leadership and Management from Emerson College in Boston. Through my college career I’ve developed a strong foundation in writing, media relations, and social media marketing. I’ve worked on projects ranging from social media campaigns to public relations strategies to facilitating classes, all with a focus on audience engagement.

I’m extremely passionate about utilizing the power of effective communication to tell people’s stories and create lasting connections. I believe clear communication is vital to navigating today’s increasingly digital world, and is essential to creating meaningful, lasting change. I hope to use my skills to help companies develop their relationships both internally and externally, building brands we can be proud of.

Through my studies, I’ve developed my skills in branding, negotiation, and advocacy, among other things. I’ve been able to apply these skills outside of the classroom in my time interning for a public relations company, as well as in developing the social media presence for the salon I’ve worked at all through college.

When I’m not working on communication projects, I enjoy exploring media trends, meeting new people, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to contributing my creativity, empathy, and enthusiasm to a dynamic team.
